Startup MVP
Cromeet is a platform that simplifies discovering regional tech conferences and meetups
Why We Came Up with This Idea
As active members of the IT community, Vedran and I noticed many people asking us about upcoming meetups, struggling to keep track of events across multiple platforms. This inspired us to create Cromeet—a single platform where users could easily discover all relevant IT meetups and conferences based on their interests and location.
Key Features
Centralized Event Listings: All relevant IT conferences and meetups in one place, saving users time and effort.
Simple, Intuitive Navigation: Users can easily filter events by field of interest or city.
Quick Access to Event Details: A simple click takes users to the official event page for more information or registration.
My Role
As co-founder and Product Designer, I was involved in every aspect of Cromeet’s creation:
Concept Development: I worked with Vedran to shape the core idea, focusing on user needs and simplifying the discovery process.
User Research: We identified pain points within the IT community, conducting informal research and gathering feedback from potential users about what they needed from a platform like Cromeet.
Wireframes & Prototyping: I created wireframes and prototypes to define the user flow and design. The focus was on creating a clean, user-friendly interface that prioritized quick access to event listings.
User Experience: I ensured that users could easily navigate the platform, find events, and get redirected to official event sites with minimal effort.
Next Steps
After launching Cromeet, our first step was to integrate analytics to track user engagement and event interest. Moving forward, our goal is to build a newsletter to keep users updated on upcoming meetups and conferences, while also growing a community of tech enthusiasts. Eventually, we aim to expand by offering job listings, turning Cromeet into a go-to platform for both events and career opportunities in the IT space.
